I noticed that there are 3 USED Foci available in my area, all with less than 15k miles.
There are about a million of these suckers floating around here and I thought people really liked them but there are 3 different ones for sale right now. Is there something wrong with the FoST? I mean the one was traded in for a late 2000s Civic Si.

Something tells me they attract an outweighted proportion of individuals who can't actually afford them and have to part with them in exchange for late 2000s Civic SIs after a year or so.

a lot of used ones means they're selling a lot
at least that's what I think

There are definitely a ton of them in the area, I'd say that there are probably at least 15 different FoSTs and 5 FiSTs within a 10 mile radius, it's insane.

Yeah FiSTs are really rare where I am, still.
dat unicorn status tho

I think they sell well in certain areas. Often times, people buy them (compromising on another car that would probably suit their needs better like a truck or SUV) and sell them when they realize it doesn't fit their life needs. I however made the practical choice compared to the FiST or an Abarth that I was looking at.

They should've bought FiSTs!

I would really love to know why they were sold. Part of me thinks its just standard "I bought more than I can afford" but I want to believe all these people realized the fist is best

There are 6 within 50 miles of me.
What this DOES tell me, though, is that mine is worth more than what I owe...so my estimates before I bought the car were correct!

All 3 of these are within 10 miles which is crazy.
They do seem to be holding their value which is great!

I'm fine with people buying more FiSTs so long as they aren't Oxford White like mine!

My estimate I had worked out pegged my car's value at $19,321.42 for January 2015. I found one within ten miles that is almost identical but twice the mileage of mine going for about $23k.
I'm ok with this.

As it's been said: It's probably folks who bought it but couldn't actually muster up the payments once life happened. Pardon me if I'm wrong, but didn't these have some transmission issues? I seem to recall one of my dad's co-workers telling me he was either on his third fix service or third transmission. I know that's a big difference but the conversation happened months ago.

I kinda wish I would have gotten a different color other than silver. It's a bit boring.

There are around 25 used FoSTs around me right now...
Not sure what that means..

Lol how did you narrow it down to the cent?!

Or people who thought they could drive stick and realized they weren't about that life.

I was going hard core on my purchase last year...spent two months before I got it going over all the vehicles I was interested in and how they would depreciate over 5 years. Only got a 5 year loss figure so I figured out when the majority of the hit was, spread it over each of the five years then divided it up by month.
Got a little carried away but didn't do half bad!

Clean, better to over estimate (or are you under estimating?) that way you know the best and worst case scenario, this time it turned out well since your car is worth more with less mileage.

Did I over-estimate depreciation or under-estimate the value of the car?!?!?!? AHHHHHHHH I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE?!?!?!?!?
